    Impact 100 East Bay Membership

    Impact 100 East Bay is a group of women of diverse ages and backgrounds who have come together to do something truly remarkable–award significant grants to support a high impact, transformational, and sustainable project for local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in Alameda County and/or Contra Coast County.

    Member Requirements

    1 membership = 1 vote. 100 women donating $1000 to award $100,000 grant to a local non-profit organization that has applied with a transformational idea.

    100% of this $1000 donation is given to the grant recipient in the following year. Our membership year runs from January 1 – December 31 of the current year. We welcome all women to join throughout the year. The annual membership is $1000, and we have several levels of membership to help us run our 100% volunteer organization (see FAQs for more information).

    We encourage members to take advantage of the many opportunities to become involved in the activities of Impact 100 East Bay, although this is a home for everyone regardless of the amount of time you have to give.

     

    Become A Member

    Click on the links below to complete your membership form and pay your annual contribution. Members that join through December 31st, 2020 will be entitled to vote for our 2021 grant recipient. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. You will be emailed a tax receipt when your payment has been received.

    For your convience, we offer 3 ways to pay your membership donation:
    1) eCheck (no processing fee)
    2) Paper Check (use this payment option if you are either having your donor advisory/charitable giving account pay directly or you are writing a personal check).
    3) Credit Card (there is an additional 3.5% processing fee).

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    We have 3 levels of membership to enable our 100% volunteer organization to fund scholarships, recognize finalists who do not receive a grant, and defray our operating expenses:
    1) Member Champion ( $1500 or more). You can select the amount over $1000 to be applied to fund operational and/or our scholarship fund.
    2) Member Plus ($1100 – $1499) with the amount over $1000 to be used offset general operating expenses.
    3) Member ($1000) 100% of this donation will be applied to the 2021 grant.

    Membership in Impact 100 East Bay is renewed annually. Our annual membership campaign runs from January 1 through December 31 of any given year. The donation you make will go towards the grant made in the following year. (e.g. membership donations received through December 31st of the current year will be awarded at the next year’s Fall Grant Celebration (usually September or October).

    Yes, we welcome donations through donor advised funds or sometimes called charitable giving accounts. Please use the paper check option as most will send a check directly from the account to our address. If you have further questions, please contact us at membership@impact100eastbay.org.

    We realize that many members have never given a charitable gift of this size and that a $1,000 donation is not possible in one lump sum. Payment plans are available to help you manage your budgeting process (putting aside $92 per month will do it). We ask that members requesting a payment plan, contribute at the Member Plus level of at least $1100, where $100 goes to our operating fund. As long as full payment is received by December 31st, we can tailor a plan to your needs. To discuss, please email membership@impact100eastbay.org

    Each member is limited to one vote. However, if you’d like to donate to our scholarship fund through our ‘friends’ donation, you would be helping other women get involved in this wonderful organization.

    YES! Through Friends of Impact 100 East Bay program you or your company can directly sponsor members. Click here for more information.

    We welcome any and all donations from individuals, businesses or foundations as “Friends of Impact 100 East Bay”. These donations help our all-volunteer organization defray our annual expenses, such as web hosting fees, insurance and annual events. Click here for more information:
